Privacy policy

Setu (at onlyfunds.space) connects Indore's tech founders, incubators and investors. This page explains what we collect, why, who processes it for us, and how you can see, correct or delete it. We collect only what the product needs, we do not sell personal data, and we show no advertising.

What we collect

• Your account. Your email address, and a password if you sign up with email (stored only as a one-way hash by our authentication provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and nothing else.
• Your founder profile and startup listing. What you enter during onboarding and when you list your startup, such as names, niche, stage and descriptions. A published listing is visible to other signed-in members.
• Pitch decks. Slides you write in the pitch deck tool are private to your startup's founders. If you upload a deck to fill in your listing, the file itself is read and discarded, never stored; the text of the sections we recognise is kept privately for you.
• Forum posts and comments, which other signed-in members can read.
• Basic technical data our hosting provider records to run and protect the service, such as IP addresses and request logs.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Who processes your data for us

• Supabase stores the database and handles sign-in, in Mumbai, India.
• Vercel hosts the website, with its servers in Mumbai, India.
• Resend delivers account emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset).
• Google provides “Continue with Google” sign-in. When you ask for pitch deck feedback, the text of that deck is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate it; on Google's free tier Google may use submitted content to improve its products, so only request feedback on content you are comfortable sharing. Feedback is never run unless you ask for it.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 provides. Write to techfundingspace@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days.

Children

Setu is for founders and professionals aged 18 or over.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell signed-in members before the change takes effect.
